The Technician III, A&P is an entry level position ideal for new graduates from Technical or A&P school. Also ideal for mechanics with less than five years of heavy aircraft experience.
What you will be responsible for- Able to perform basic maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, M/M, OHM, SRM) proficiently.
- Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
- This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
- High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training.
- May or may not have an A and/or P license.
- Some maintenance experience (including relative experience outside of Aviation).
- Must possess and be able to skillfully use the minimum tools required.
- 1 to 3 years aviation maintenance experience preferred.
- Must possess the ability to learn.
- Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing).
