Job Description

Support the engineering development of new products, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality outputs for customers. This role is hands-on within the new product development lifecycle, guided by experienced engineers, and focused on technical skill-building and professional development. Responsibilities include assisting with product design and supporting technical ownership tasks aligned with corporate deliverables.

Responsibilities

* Assist in the design and development of new products.

* Contribute to the full product development lifecycle.

* Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product quality.

Essential Skills

* Experience in design, Solid Works, and mechanical design.

* Entry-level to early career experience in product development, manufacturing, or related engineering fields.

* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality concepts.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

* Experience in solid modeling using 3D CAD.

* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Effective interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.

* Analytical and problem-solving capability.

* Furniture industry experience is preferred.

* Solid Works experience is an advantage.

* Project management exposure is beneficial.

* Electrical (low & high volume) experience is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
