Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Supplier Quality Senior Engineer in Greensboro, NC.

Job Description:

Lead the qualification process of sheet metal fabricated parts for strategic projects in the company through the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers in the category to support medium and long-term development. Problem‑solve, conduct process audits, and drive improvement action plans to ensure supplier performance and compliance with quality standards. Manage supplier improvement initiatives related to sheet metal fabrication and support the Regional Supplier Quality Development through process optimization.

Conduct supplier audits as part of PPAP and supplier approval process, and lead action plans to address audit findings. Remote eligible up to 3 dys/wk. 25% domestic travel required to supplier and SE sites for supplier quality audits.

Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical, Industrial, or Information Systems Engineering, or related engineering field and 5 years of experience (experience gained after coursework completion but prior to issuance of formal degree can be considered as qualifying) in supplier quality engineering, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process);

FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PCP (Process Control Plan);
Evaluation of MSA (Measurement System Analysis); SPC (Statistical Process Control); sheet metal fabrication processes including cutting, forming, welding and painting; and interpreting technical drawings (GD&T). Green Belt Six Sigma Certification required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
