Supplier Quality Senior Engineer

Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Supplier Quality Senior Engineer in Greensboro, NC.

Lead the qualification process of sheet metal fabricated parts for strategic projects through the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers to support medium and long-term development. Problem‑solve, conduct process audits, and drive improvement action plans to ensure supplier performance and compliance with quality standards. Manage supplier improvement initiatives related to sheet metal fabrication and support regional supplier quality development through process optimization.

Conduct supplier audits as part of PPAP and supplier approval process, and lead action plans to address audit findings. Remote eligible up to 3 days per week. 25% domestic travel required to supplier and SE sites for supplier quality audits.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical, Industrial, Information Systems Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or related occupation. Experience must include at least some of the following skills:

• PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
• FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PCP (Process Control Plan)
• Evaluation of MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
• SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Sheet metal fabrication processes including cutting, forming, welding and painting
• Interpreting technical drawings (GD&T)

Green Belt Six Sigma Certification required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
