The opportunity
Join a global, forward‑thinking team that is shaping the future of the energy landscape. Hitachi Energy’s Power Consulting team partners with utilities, ISOs, developers, and large energy users to solve complex power delivery and grid‑integration challenges. We combine deep technical expertise with practical, real‑world execution to accelerate the energy transition.

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with power systems coursework.
- Typically 8–12+ years in power system studies, grid integration, planning, or consulting roles.
- Comfortable operating independently, navigating ambiguity, and balancing BD with delivery.

- Experience with analysis tools (e.g., PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, PROMOD) and programming tools such as Python.
- West Coast–based and willing to travel up to 25%.
- We innovate at the center of the energy transition, helping customers build a stronger, more sustainable grid.
- We offer global career pathways, learning opportunities, and development programs to support your long‑term growth.
