This role focuses on quality assurance of purchased items within the project phase, monitoring and guiding suppliers to define and establish processes that deliver parts according to agreed specifications. Key responsibilities include industrializing products from sourcing through PPAP approval and managing a portfolio of suppliers within the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics segment.
- Perform supplier auditing and quality assurance activities for vehicle projects to monitor supplier processes and outcomes.
- Lead industrialization from sourcing to PPAP approval, tracking the APQP process from start to finish.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, including travel of approximately 50–75%.
- Participate in design and technical specification reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Review tool design practices with suppliers, providing input as needed.
- Lead Control Plan reviews, ensuring product and process characteristics are included.
- Promote best practices for automated process control, mistake-proofing, and segregation of defective parts in production.
- A strong background in supplier quality assurance.
- A continuous improvement and zero‑defect mindset.
- Ability to build networks, collaborate, and lead cross‑functional activities within multi‑cultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Three or more years of supplier quality assurance experience.
- Knowledge in one or both of the following:
- Chassis & Vehicle Dynamic components and related manufacturing/assembly processes.
- APQP/PPAP processes.
- Three or more years of GD&T experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and does not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.

Base pay ranges from $95,965 to $118,545 annually, with bonus eligibility where applicable. Final compensation depends on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
