Our team, Complete Vehicle (CV), is part of Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT), a division of Volvo Group North America, providing state‑of‑the‑art research, engineering, product planning, and project execution to final delivery of complete products and support of the products in the aftermarket. Complete Vehicle translates the soul of the brand to a product message, designs the products and services, delivers all truck and component builds, develops niche products and aftermarket solutions, and verifies and validates the products and services.
WhatYou will be doing
As a Co‑op, you will support the Complete Vehicle Project Management Office (PMO) team in planning, coordination, and reporting activities across multiple vehicle development projects. This role provides hands‑on experience with project management tools, cross‑functional collaboration, and process execution within a global engineering organization.
Responsibilities- Support creation and maintenance of PTM (Project Time Management) files and Verification and Validation (V&V) updates.
- Assist with project tracking, status updates, and reporting activities.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, V&V, production, and project managers) to gather input.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across planning tools and reports.
- Support preparation of presentations, dashboards, and template materials.
- Participate in PMO meetings and follow up on action items and deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process and efficiency enhancement.
You are a motivated and curious Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive, or Computer Engineering student. You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced and challenging environment and are eager to gain experience across different aspects of product development (engineering, design, production, etc.). You are a self‑starter who works independently, takes initiative, and values collaboration and continuous learning.
Requirements- Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering program (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive, or Computer).
- Completed at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate or graduate studies.
- Co‑ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their co‑op rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work across teams.

Hourly range set at $17.00 - $46.00. Compensation based on location, academic classification, and degree seeking area. Pay equity considered and internal equity part of final offer.
