We are seeking a Controls Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience designing and programming industrial automation systems. This role requires hands‑on experience developing Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley PLC and HMI programs from scratch, supporting manufacturing and production environments, and leading controls projects from concept through startup.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and commission industrial control systems for manufacturing and production equipment.
- Create PLC programs from scratch utilizing Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley platforms including Control Logix and Compact Logix.
- Develop and configure HMI.
- Design control architectures, I/O layouts, network configurations, and electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network‑related issues.
- Interpret and develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and project teams to implement automation solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and equipment reliability.
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card - No sponsorship available for this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of Controls Engineering experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial automation, or systems integration environment.
- Experience programming Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley PLCs from scratch.
- Experience with HMI development.
- Knowledge of industrial networking including Ethernet/IP.
- Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and industrial control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Ability to work fully onsite as needed.
- Experience with systems integration.
- Experience with process control industry.
