E&I Supervisor

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced E&I Supervisor to lead the site's Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team in Greensboro, NC. This role is responsible for overseeing all electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring safe, reliable plant operations while supporting maintenance, engineering, and capital improvement initiatives.

• Supervise the E&I maintenance team and oversee daily departmental operations.
• Manage departmental expenses, regulate workload, and ensure compliance with maintenance standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
• Lead root cause failure analyses for recurring equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and promoting personnel, including establishing skills training and testing requirements.
• Support the Engineering department on capital projects as needed.
• Develop, recommend, and coordinate downtime, repair activities, and equipment modifications to maximize equipment reliability and plant on-stream time.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors supporting maintenance activities and engineering projects.
• Oversee upgrades and maintenance of site E&I systems, including electrical power distribution, control systems, lighting, instrumentation, and UPS systems.
• Ensure compliance with all ISO requirements related to plant instrumentation and the E&I department.
• Determine the most effective repair methods and coordinate outside contractors as needed.

• Associate degree or Engineering degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including 3 years supervising engineering projects and maintenance activities.
• In lieu of an engineering degree, 10 years of maintenance experience and 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience will be considered.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design, troubleshooting, and re-engineering of plant equipment.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation calibration procedures and overall plant operations.
