Your responsibilities:

Monitor and configure plant control system network to meet or exceed productivity standards and meet finished product quality specifications.
Troubleshoot plant control system issues.
Coordinate with maintenance on control system troubleshooting.
Write and update plant control system documentation including logic diagrams, interlock lists, sequence flow charts, database documentation, control system layout drawings etc.
Develop and implement and optimize plant operating logic.
Technical liaison to plant personnel and process engineer
Review environmental compliance control logic and documentation ensures that all permits’ requirements are met through operation logic
Product liaison to engineering department on capital projects.
Write and submit all required reports.
Specify, select and provide loop sheets for process instrumentation.
Participate in overtime activities as required including down-day activities, vacation or illness coverage, or assist with additional workloads as required.
Compliance with applicable regulations and occupational safety requirements

What you bring to the table:

B.S. in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
A minimum of 3 years or equivalent experience in chemical/plant process
Ability to plan and execute multiple duties to a strict schedule.
Requires a high- level of organization and judgement.
Strong teamwork and communication skills
High- level of quality and safety awareness
