Your responsibilities:- Monitor and configure plant control system network to meet or exceed productivity standards and meet finished product quality specifications.
- Troubleshoot plant control system issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance on control system troubleshooting.
- Write and update plant control system documentation including logic diagrams, interlock lists, sequence flow charts, database documentation, control system layout drawings etc.
- Develop and implement and optimize plant operating logic.
- Technical liaison to plant personnel and process engineer
- Review environmental compliance control logic and documentation ensures that all permits’ requirements are met through operation logic
- Product liaison to engineering department on capital projects.
- Write and submit all required reports.
- Specify, select and provide loop sheets for process instrumentation.
- Participate in overtime activities as required including down-day activities, vacation or illness coverage, or assist with additional workloads as required.
- Compliance with applicable regulations and occupational safety requirements
- B.S. in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
- A minimum of 3 years or equivalent experience in chemical/plant process
- Ability to plan and execute multiple duties to a strict schedule.
- Requires a high- level of organization and judgement.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High- level of quality and safety awareness
