• Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, and 8+ years of experience, or a master's degree plus 6 years of experience.
• CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret Security Clearance required within a reasonable period. Applicants will undergo a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information.
• $10K Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Package available.

As an electrical engineer for Undersea Systems, you'll develop Undersea Communication systems as part of a cross-functional team. We encourage applicants with these preferred skills:

• Power Systems/Module Design
• Experience with multiple power topology designs from watts to KW+ converters
• Power System architecture and grounding
• Transmission Line Effects in power systems
• Magnetics Design

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

• Expertise in electrical CAD tools and mixed signal circuit analysis/design
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Experience with analog design and instrumentation
• Multiple power topology designs experience, including KW+ converters
• Power System architecture and grounding knowledge
• Experience with Isolated Switching Converters
• Transmission Line Effects in power systems
• EMI testing and control methods (MIL-STD-461, FCC, VDE, etc.)
• Magnetics Design and High-Speed Design experience (desirable)
• Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of diagnosing failures through components
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Experience in writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures
• Research & Development experience and advanced testing/troubleshooting skills
• Motivation to innovate in design architectures and electronics
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with leadership experience in complex projects
• Team-oriented, committed to ongoing professional development
• Ability to travel as needed
