Today’s aircraft contribute around 4% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.

Jet Zero is developing a blended‑wing body (BWB) aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel and is built to accommodate zero‑emission hydrogen propulsion.

The selected candidate will build and lead a team of specialists who will integrate inputs from internal and external stakeholders to develop the Cabin and Cargo features of the Jet Zero Blended Wing Body Aircraft.

• Cabin Monuments such as Galleys, Lavatories, Stowages, Partitions, Crew Rests
• Cabin Linings
• Passenger Seats of all classes (Economy through Lie‑Flat)
• Flight Crew and Cabin Crew Seats
• Cargo Compartment Linings and Equipment
• Emergency Equipment and Galley Inserts
• Placards & Markings

Individual and team activities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop interface and integration requirements and digital models with internal teams and external commodity suppliers and manage same through the product lifecycle, from development through Entry Into Service and beyond
• Develop and release parts/models and manufacturing installations and support certification team with applicable documentation
• Develop and deploy processes and tools in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Manage supplier development and related governance activities

• Previous development and leadership experience with Commercial or Corporate Aircraft Cabin development (10 years or more)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of Siemens Suite: NX, Teamcenter, etc.
• Knowledge of digital twin environments or model‑based systems engineering (MBSE)
• Understanding of Aircraft installation practices and regulatory guidelines
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and installation standards
• Collaborative and innovative spirit

Our compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $160,000 – $195,000. Factors such as geography, internal equity, and years of experience are considered when presenting a final offer.
