We are seeking a Chattel Funding Manager for the Processing & Funding Department..
The Chattel Funding Manager leads chattel loan production, oversees workflow and pipeline activity, and ensures loans meet credit verification, documentation, regulatory, policy, quality, and service standards. This role also develops procedures, supports team performance and training, manages department budget and invoice reconciliation, serves as an escalation resource, and helps improve operations and business continuity.

- Oversee workflow, audits, funding, documentation, and lien perfection to ensure timely and accurate loan file production.
- Drive process improvements that strengthen service delivery for borrowers, business partners, and internal teams.
- Coach, train, and develop team members while setting clear expectations and supporting career growth.
- Manage department expenses, invoices, and contingency planning to support efficient and sustainable operations.
- 2+ years of indirect or direct lending experience in loan originations, underwriting, closing, or loan production in real estate, manufactured housing, automobile, and/or consumer finance industry.
- 1-year managerial experience.
- Knowledgeable in real estate underwriting principles
- Knowledgeable in manufactured housing, automobile collateralization and titling
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- Requires eligibility to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and Registry.
- NMLS Registered
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Detailed oriented.
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently to solve complex problems.
- Ability to manage, supervise, and lead others to achieve desired results.
- Crystal Reports and Access.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
