CareLink Paramedic

The Paramedic reviews emergency medical systems and provides support in emergency medical situations. Working under general supervision for routine situations, this position manages critical patient care and emergency response, and ensures timeliness of reports and documentation.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of Paramedic experience for ED/Occ Health; 3 years of EMS paramedic experience for Carelink; 3 years of EMS or critical care transport paramedic experience for Carelink Transport positions; 5 years of EMS paramedic experience and 1 year of critical care transport experience for Carelink relief paramedics.
• Licensure/Certification: Current valid NC Paramedic certification, BLS, ACLS, and a valid Driver's License. For driving a CH vehicle, minimum 5 years as a licensed driver with approved MVR. Carelink:
  Emergency Vehicle Operator's course completed within 1 year of hire.
