Job Description:

Caring Hands Home Health, Inc. is seeking experienced, skilled, and dependable In-Home Aides and CNAs to provide hands‑on personal care to clients in their homes throughout Greensboro, High Point, Winston Salem, Lexington, and surrounding Triad areas. This requires hands on skills to keep our client, and you are safe. We do ask you complete a hands‑on skills assessment. If you cannot pass the assessment, we do have an IHA class available for you to grow your career as a Caregiver.

This is NOT a companionship position.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands‑on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers, bed baths, and brief changes
  • Safely assist clients using proper body mechanics, gait belts, wheelchairs, Hoyer Lift and other equipment
  • Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement.
  • Offer medication reminders (no administration).
  • Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
  • Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to nursing or supervisory staff
Qualifications:
  • At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience under RN supervision (home care, assisted living, or facility).
  • Must successfully complete and pass a hands‑on caregiver skills assessment
  • Caregivers must be able to communicate effectively in English for documentation, client safety, and coordination with office staff. Bilingual caregivers, especially those fluent in Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply as we proudly serve diverse clients and families.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and safely assist with transfers and mobility.
  • Must have a smartphone with internet access for clocking in/out, schedules, and care notes.
  • Must have reliable transportation to client homes (car preferred but not required).
  • Must pass a background check and NC Health Care Personnel Registry clearance (no substantiated findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation).
  • Must have weekend availability — caregivers with flexible schedules are highly encouraged to apply.

Note: Applicants must be able to communicate directly with clients and staff without the use of an interpreter during interviews and while providing care to ensure safety and clear communication. Completion of training programs does not guarantee employment.
