This role formalizes supervisory and leadership responsibilities already being performed to ensure appropriate accountability, sustainability, and compensation alignment.
Essential Job Function
* Performs direct supervisory functions already in practice, including assigning work, overseeing daily operations, providing guidance, and serving as the primary escalation point for quality staff.
* Leads clinic-based quality initiatives related to HEDIS, RAF, AWV, and payer-specific performance requirements, ensuring care gap closure and measure compliance.
* Partners with Clinical Documentation Advisors (CDA) and RAF teams to support accurate documentation, risk adjustment initiatives, and provider education.
* Collaborates closely with QPS Quality Performance Specialists to plan, execute, and monitor quality improvement initiatives at the practice and system level.
* Coordinates with AWV teams to align workflows and outreach strategies that support preventive care delivery and closure of quality measures.
* Oversees chart review, supplemental data submission, and documentation validation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
* Identifies trends, gaps, and operational risks across clinics and communicates actionable recommendations to leadership and clinical partners.
* Provides onboarding, training, coaching, and informal performance management for team members, including identification of development needs.
* Supports hiring activities by participating in candidate evaluation, onboarding, and mentoring of new staff.
* Develops and standardizes workflows, tools, and training materials to improve efficiency, quality outcomes, and staff performance.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
* Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
* Preferred:
Associate's degree
Experience
* Required:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive healthcare experience in quality, clinic operations, or value-based care environments. Demonstrated experience performing supervisory-level responsibilities, including oversight of staff workflows, coordination of cross-functional initiatives, and accountability for quality outcomes. Experience supporting HEDIS, RAF, AWV, and payer quality initiatives.
