Position OverviewThis is a temporary, part-time position with administrative responsibilities and reports to the Program Director. The part-time associate director within the Physician Assistant (PA) Program is primarily responsible for curriculum development, instruction, and/or course coordination in the didactic and/or clinical phase of the program. It is expected that the associate director will be effective in the areas of course design, course delivery, and evaluation.
Work Hours:
Hours vary Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m.). No more than 20 hours per week.
The associate director is instrumental in ensuring the program is meeting the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Accreditation Standards.
Primary Function of Organizational UnitTo prepare highly qualified, diverse graduates to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, particularly for underserved communities in North Carolina. The 27-month, full-time, Master's-level program aims to address regional provider shortages by training practitioners in both didactic and clinical settings.
