We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated full-time Band 4 Quality Assurance Facilitators to join our dynamic and forward‑thinking team within the Nursing and Governance Directorate. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping clinical excellence across our Trust.

Main duties of the job

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Lead and Quality Compliance Team in delivering a robust Clinical Audit Programme.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and undertaking clinical audit projects that drive improvements in patient care.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data (both quantitative and qualitative) to inform decision‑making and compliance.
  • Maintain and develop standard systems and processes that underpin quality governance.
  • Communicate findings clearly and confidently to both clinical and non‑clinical staff, ensuring everyone understands how we can improve together.

What We're Looking For

  • A good educational background (A‑levels, BTEC, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience).
  • Strong keyboard and IT skills, with the ability to work confidently with data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clinical and non‑clinical staff.
  • Experience in a clinical or information environment is desirable, but not essential— we'll provide full training and support.
  • A proactive, organised approach and a genuine interest in healthcare quality.

Person Specification Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Good educational background to "A" level or equivalent (including NVQ level 4 or equivalent NHS experience)
  • Degree in relevant subject area
  • ECDL or equivalent
Experience
  • Able to confidently collect and analyse data
  • Some working experience in a clinical or information environment
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Knowledge of clinical audit and effectiveness methodologies
Skills and Knowledge
  • Interpretation and presentation of data
  • Able to write meaningful and accurate reports
  • Knowledge and understanding of patient confidentiality issues
  • Good keyboard skills and the ability to confidently use software packages, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point
  • Able to conduct literature searches
  • Understanding of Clinical Governance in the NHS
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
