Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday

• Float required as needed to other units or campuses

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, RCES

• Must have experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage procedures, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies

• Preferred experience with cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies

• Epic charting system experience required

• Must pass mandatory EKG exam with 2 attempts allowed

• 16 hours of orientation provided

• Work in 9 room lab with 2 active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA procedures

• Provide direct patient care in Electrophysiology Lab, Catheterization Lab, and holding areas

• Maintain strict asepsis during procedures and respond to emergencies

• Operate specialty EP equipment and monitoring systems

• Complete control room duties and digital archiving of studies

• Circulate during elective and emergency procedures

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
