American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 1 year of invasive cardiovascular lab experience and strong EKG and procedural skills.

• Position based in a cath lab specializing in adult and geriatric cardiovascular cases
• Typical schedule is four 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required as needed with potential to float in the event of a COVID surge
• Procedures include balloon angioplasty, PCI, stenting, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, rotablator, CSI-athrectomy, IABP, ACIST, OCT, LHC, RHC, Swan, IVUS, Angiojet, radial/ulnar/femoral access, and EP lab ablations and device implantation
• Patient diagnoses include coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, and abnormal cardiac electrical function
• Caseload of 25-35 invasive cath procedures per day
• Uses Epic (CUPID) and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience required, with scrub and EKG skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RCIS or RCES certification strongly preferred but not required
• Mandatory Epic EMR experience
• Must be able to care for adult and geriatric populations
• Ability to perform hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation
• EKG exam must be passed during compliance with two attempts allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome

• Responsibilities include assisting with a variety of invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and device/ablation work in the EP lab
• Team-oriented environment with potential to float if COVID surges occur
• Candidates are responsible for preparing for the EKG test as study materials are not provided
• Scrub attire required
• No local rates apply due to mileage radius rule
• License required if applicable
