Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm
D) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialty retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to support their team with both sterile and non-sterile compounding tasks. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing you to demonstrate your expertise and potentially transition into a permanent role. Location:
Greensboro, NCJob Type: Contract to Hire (13 weeks)
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 1-hour lunch break
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications, including sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions
- Utilize the pharmacy order entry system (PK, similar to QS1) with training provided
- Provide excellent patient counseling and support to ensure safe medication use
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage workflow and optimize productivity
Qualifications/Desired
Experience:
- Valid North Carolina pharmacy license required
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
- Experience with sterile compounding preferred
- Experience with non-sterile compounding a plus
- Retail pharmacy background, especially in specialty pharmacy, highly valued
