Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant stay. The Hotel Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and organizing guest rooms and public areas, while adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and service.

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas, following established protocols and checklists.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies (i.e., toiletries, snacks, etc.) as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decor, ensuring a tidy appearance of all surfaces.
• Vacuum and mop floors, ensuring cleanliness in all areas of the hotel.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and dining areas.
• Maintain a well‑organized and clean housekeeping cart and stock supply closets.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor or management.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and walking.
• Effective communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
