Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator for a new opportunity with our client in the Greensboro area. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing internal payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. This role plays a vital part in maintaining employee satisfaction and organizational compliance by managing payroll data entry, benefits administration, and related financial transactions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of payroll management systems.
- Process employee payroll using payroll software.
- Maintain and update employee records within HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Manage benefits administration tasks including deductions, enrollments, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on payroll data, tax filings, and benefits for management review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by preparing and submitting required reports.
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy using 10 key typing skills to process large volumes of payroll information.
- Collaborate with human resources to ensure proper documentation of employee changes affecting payroll.
- Conduct periodic analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors and resolve issues promptly.
- Proven experience within a similar payroll position.
- Experience using payroll processing software (ADP Workforce Now, Paychex Flex, etc.)
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills for data verification.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation efficiently within complex financial environments.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments including human resources and finance teams.
