Seeking a skilled Application Systems Analyst I (application programmer) to join our ERP Operations team. This role supports system-wide initiatives by delivering technical solutions across key ERP modules—Finance, HR & Payroll, Student, and Financial Aid. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, design and develop applications, and ensure smooth deployment and support. You’ll work independently and as a mentor, contributing to cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming and Web Technologies with experience (4 years) in languages and tools such as Python, C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.
- Database and Data Management Expertise with strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Uni Data, Oracle, JSON); ability to design, query, and optimize data structures.
- Experience in Systems Development and Deployment in Agile/Dev Ops environments; hands-on experience with software design, development, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Visual Studio and Git, within Agile or Dev Ops workflows.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving to interpret business requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and produce functional solutions with clear technical documentation; understanding of system architecture and enterprise security protocols.
- Effective communication and collaboration; ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences—end users, stakeholders, and executive leadership—through written and verbal communication and by providing technical support and documentation.
Our office is in downtown Raleigh, NC. Travel is typically limited to periodic professional knowledge/skill development and conference attendance.

MINIMUM
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related field from an accredited institution, or an Associate degree in computer science or an IT-related field or related technical degree from an accredited institution with one year of experience in business application consulting or development, or a High School diploma or GED with four years of experience in business application consulting or development;
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
