About the position
The Netskope Solutions Engineer will work closely with customers and partners as the primary point of contact for feedback, issue resolution, and advocacy, coordinating with the HQ Support team as needed. You will provide product feature feedback to Product Management, traveling heavily within the territory and supporting additional company engagements across the U.S. This role offers the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on business growth and career advancement.
Responsibilitiesinclude
- Exceed sales targets.
- Articulate the high‑level benefits of Netskope's architecture to senior security executives, including CISOs and CIOs.
- Develop best practices for presentations, demos, and Proof‑of‑Concept or Value exercises, and overall win strategy.
- Take an active role in regional customer success and resolve customer satisfaction issues, escalating across functions when required.
- Position Netskope’s product as the best solution that addresses customer needs and business value.
- Present the Netskope cloud security solution to prospective customers.
- Create and deliver demonstrations of the products.
- Gather customer technical requirements.
- Participate in trade shows as necessary.
- Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate Netskope from them.
- Create evaluation test plans with customers and partners, managing the evaluation process to successful conclusion.
- Lead Proof‑of‑Concepts (POCs).
- Present at conferences and seminars.
- Respond effectively to RFIs/RFPs.
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a Solutions/System Engineer with a proven track record of presenting technical information to executives.
- Strong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growth.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills at all technical levels and to senior executives.
- Ability to scale from the whiteboard to influencing CISOs.
- Dedication to delivering customer satisfaction even in challenging situations.
- Experience with Linux, macOS, and Windows system installation, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in mobile device technologies (MDM/MAM) and OS such as Android and iOS.
- Knowledge of certificates, key‑management systems, HSM, and related protocols.
- Hands‑on experience with Web Proxy, NGFW, Security Gateways, remote access, VPN technologies, SAML/SO‑A, DLP, and data security, including regex.
- Experience with Cloud Identity Providers, SCIM, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and SD‑WAN deployments and integrations.
- Experience with Active Directory, ADFS, and working knowledge of Azure AD.
- Experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of the broader threat landscape and ability to distill technology trends into simple terms.
- Travel within the region; experience selling cloud‑based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and REST API frameworks.
- Prior experience with other vendor cloud security solutions.
- Strong security skills with hands‑on experience with Bluecoat, Symantec, McAfee, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, and related certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSK, CCSP, CCSE, GCFW, PCNSE, JNCIS‑SEC, JNCIP‑ENT, GCIH).
- Agile Scrum Certification: CSPO, CSM, or CSP.
- Project Management Certification: PMP.
- Advanced network technology certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE).
- Relevant bachelor’s degree; preference for computer science or related fields.
Salary range: $205,000—$267,000 USD (On Target Earnings includes base salary and target commission). Compensation is based on job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.
