IT Business Analyst

IT Business Analyst – Frontline IT, Traffic Solutions team (Greensboro, NC). Hybrid work model; reports to IT Manager.

• Rapidly assimilate assigned business area products and processes.
• Gather requirements, produce functional designs, conduct testing, and collaborate with business processes.
• Link IT impact to redesigned business processes.
• Provide independent support for user requests using standard tools.
• Collaborate with other PPG analysts to understand IT solution deployments across areas.
• Develop effective working relationships across diverse functional, technical, and business partners.
• Apply strong problem‑solving skills.
• Maintain strong business relationships with technical teams within assigned area.
• Support software delivery: product manager interactions, specifications and user story development.
• Assist with test plan development and change management activities.
• Lead and deliver small independent projects.
• Apply SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
• Document enhancements for ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Support manufacturing execution systems (MES).

• Four‑year degree or higher in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT or related discipline experience.
• Prior experience supporting/implementing SAP in a manufacturing organization (required).
• Experience supporting manufacturing systems and integrations (preferred).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including technical writing.
• Strong systems and process orientation.
• Track record of participation on IT project teams.
• Comfortable working remotely using virtual collaboration tools.
• Highly motivated and committed to delivering high‑quality work in a dynamic environment.
• Desire to mentor junior team members.
• Technical skills for minor user requests (ad‑hoc reports, data extraction).
