Responsibilities
- Visit client locations to conduct thorough network surveys.
- Evaluate existing network configurations and infrastructure.
- Identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Document findings in detailed reports.
- Provide recommendations for network optimization and security enhancements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their networking needs and requirements.
- Assist in the implementation of network changes and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking technologies and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience with network design and implementation.
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of various networking tools and software.
- Experience with cloud networking solutions.
- Ability to create and maintain network documentation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
This position involves regular travel to client locations, which may vary in distance and duration. The Network Engineer will work both on-site and remotely, depending on project requirements. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this role.
