- Build, configure, and support Kubernetes platform services and supporting ecosystem components.
- Deploy and maintain containerized workloads and platform integrations using Git Ops practices.
- Implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Support Kubernetes cluster lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, scaling, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot platform, networking, storage, and workload-related issues across Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with application teams to onboard workloads and adopt platform standards.
- Assist with CI/CD and Git Ops delivery pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD, Flux, or similar.
- Apply security, RBAC, compliance, and policy standards across Kubernetes platforms.
- Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability using observability tools.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, change management, and reliability improvements.
- Contribute to automation and self-service capabilities that reduce operational overhead.
- 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 1+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience supporting containerized workloads or platform operations
- Experience supporting Red Hat Open Shift or enterprise Kubernetes platforms
- Familiarity with Git Ops tools such as ArgoCD, RHACM, or Flux
- Exposure to public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, or Open Telemetry
- Familiarity with Helm, Kubernetes Operators, ingress controllers, or service mesh technologies
- Understanding of Kubernetes security practices including RBAC, secrets management, image security, and policy enforcement
- Exposure to platform engineering, self-service infrastructure, or developer enablement practices
- Experience supporting production environments with reliability and availability requirements
Demonstrates expertise in Kubernetes platform services, containerized workload management, and infrastructure automation. Proficient in implementing Git Ops practices and ensuring platform security and compliance.
