Are you passionate about enterprise mobility, rugged devices, and solving complex technical challenges? Do you enjoy partnering with customers to design innovative solutions that improve productivity and streamline operations? Our client is seeking an experienced Mobility Engineer to join our growing team. In this highly visible, customer-facing role, you'll work alongside our Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to design, implement, and support enterprise mobility solutions for customers across a variety of industries.

As a Mobility Engineer, you'll serve as the technical expert throughout the customer lifecycle—from pre-sales consultation through implementation and ongoing support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with Sales to evaluate customer requirements and design enterprise mobility solutions.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert during customer meetings, demonstrations, and solution validation.
- Design, document, test, and continuously improve deployment methodologies and implementation processes.
- Configure, stage, deploy, and validate enterprise mobility devices and supporting technologies.
- Troubleshoot advanced hardware, software, networking, and device configuration issues in customer environments.
- Develop deployment guides, technical documentation, support procedures, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Deployment, and Support teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Train and mentor internal team members on deployment best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Monitor service levels and ensure customer requests are completed within established SLAs.
- Stay current on emerging mobility technologies, hardware platforms, and industry best practices.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call support rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of experience supporting or deploying enterprise mobility solutions.
- Experience with rugged mobile computers, barcode scanners, handheld devices, or related technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, networking, and mobile operating systems.
- Experience configuring and deploying enterprise mobile devices in production environments.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering exceptional customer service.
