IT Applications Engineer V

Role Overview:
This senior-level position focuses on translating business requirements into robust software solutions, leveraging technical expertise to guide development and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

• Lead and oversee business projects, applying deep subject matter expertise, developing work plans, and coordinating resources to meet priorities and deadlines.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, communicate effectively, influence team members, and mentor junior staff to promote learning and performance improvement.
• Design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel solutions using DEVOPS, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies, including cloud-based applications.
• Translate functional specifications into technical designs and code, ensuring solutions meet business needs and architectural standards.
• Serve as a technical expert, providing guidance during project releases, incident response, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with architects and vendors to create scalable, maintainable solutions, and validate technical documentation and specifications.
• Support testing phases by developing scenarios, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
• Lead development, validation, and mentoring efforts to foster technical excellence within the team.

• At least 5 years of experience in solution implementation and SDLC processes.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience with at least 8 years in software development.
