Junior Data Analyst
Full-time.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst with a strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help organizations improve processes, identify trends, and support strategic initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-4 years of experience who are eager to build their careers in data analytics and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using data analytics tools.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support the development and automation of reporting processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for datasets, reports, and analytical processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging data analytics tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
- 1-4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
- Understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of statistics, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
- Experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience creating interactive dashboards and KPI reports.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- A relevant Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be willing to relocate anywhere within the United States for onsite client projects.
