Kaiser Permanente seeks an IT Consultant V within our Information Technology & Digital Solutions team supporting Healthcare & Medical Services. You will lead enterprise-scale technology initiatives, advising clinical and business stakeholders on digital strategies that improve patient care, data security, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include architecture review, EHR and integration solutions, cloud and data platform guidance, and governance standards. You'll mentor junior consultants, drive implementation best practices, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable, user-centered healthcare technology outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-scale IT consulting engagements for clinical and business stakeholders
- Define and recommend digital strategies aligned with healthcare and organizational goals
- Review and guide architecture for EHR, integration, and data platforms
- Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (including HIPAA)
- Drive cloud, data, and application modernization initiatives
- Establish and enforce technology governance and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-centered solutions
- Mentor junior consultants and technical staff
- Manage complex IT projects, timelines, and risks
- Communicate roadmaps, status, and outcomes to executive leadership
