IT Support Specialist

Our client, an advanced technology and industrial operations team, is seeking a IT Support Specialist to join their team. As a IT Support Specialist, you will be part of the onsite IT support function supporting engineering, test, lab, and office environments. The ideal candidate will have a service-first mindset, strong time-critical troubleshooting skills, and disciplined communication/documentation habits that will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Provide onsite, hands-on support for time-critical incidents affecting engineering, test, lab, and office operations.

+ Triage incidents, determine business impact and urgency, restore service where possible, and escalate promptly to the correct resolver team.

+ Troubleshoot Windows clients, engineering workstations, hardware, software, peripherals, access issues, connectivity, and local infrastructure dependencies.

+ Support test and lab computers, HIL rigs, specialized engineering devices, and associated network connections.

+ Maintain accurate incident, request, asset, and work-log information in designated service-management tools while providing timely status updates during critical incidents.

** What's Needed?*
* + Demonstrated experience providing onsite deskside or field IT support in a business-critical environment.

+ Strong troubleshooting capability across Windows clients, PCs/laptops, peripherals, software, user access, and network connectivity.

+ Working knowledge of LAN connectivity, endpoint security, patching, software deployment, and hardware lifecycle activities.

+ Experience using IT service-management tools and working within incident, request, change, and problem-management processes.

+ Ability to assess urgency, manage competing priorities, and remain effective during high-impact incidents, with clear written and verbal communication in English.
