Underwriter Assistant

• Review application forms, inspection reports, and medical reports to assess risk levels
• Coordinate with Binding Authority Underwriters on new and renewal risks, ensuring all necessary information is gathered
• Issue and/or re-issue certificates of insurance as needed
  
  Communicate with internal and external departments to address inquiries and resolve issues
• Assist in the training of new personnel and ensure all documentation is properly filed

• Must possess a Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Minimum educational requirement:
  High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Exceptional telephone demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in an insurance or accounting-related discipline
