We are currently seeking a Residential Real Estate Title Review Attorney
, licensed in North Carolina. This key Real Estate Counsel position requires an understanding of residential real estate transactions and all aspects of the title review and curative process. This position is fully remote, however, may be asked to assist with in-office closings occasionally. The Title Review Attorney must possess a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work independently while meeting monthly goals.

- Complete thorough title review of each assigned title search
- Examination of all legal documents to ensure compliance with state laws
- Address title curative matters and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare preliminary / final title opinion statements.
- Handle a high volume of transactions while delivering top-notch service.
- Fill in occasionally for in-office Attorneys depending on home location.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina (required);
South Carolina license is a plus. - 2+ years of real estate law experience
- Notary Public (or willingness to obtain before start date).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong sense of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service mindset.
- Must be currently or previously approved by multiple title insurance companies.
- Proven ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute multiple projects and complex tasks under a deadline.
- Ability to analyze legal issues and provide effective, practical advice on routine legal matters.
- Experience meeting and exceeding set title review goals.
