About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate with 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or tort litigation to join our growing team in our Greensboro office. This position offers significant hands-on experience, client interaction, and meaningful responsibility from day one.
The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills, courtroom exposure, and experience managing cases through various stages of litigation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of commercial and/or tort litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Assist with trial preparation and trial support
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
- Develop case strategy in collaboration with partners
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or tort litigation
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills
- Experience handling discovery and motion practice
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
- Licensed and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar

- Experience in North Carolina state and/or federal courts
