We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory processes across multiple warehouse and distribution centers. This pivotal role involves managing inventory levels, coordinating procurement activities, and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and data analytics, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked, costs are controlled, and operational workflows are streamlined.

• Oversee end-to-end inventory management processes, including stock control, replenishment, and cycle counting to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms such as AS400 or similar systems for accurate data collection and inventory tracking.
• Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement process improvements to reduce errors and enhance accuracy.
• Analyze supply chain data using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Nielsen reports to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning initiatives.
• Manage logistics operations related to shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling to ensure smooth warehouse distribution.
• Lead category management efforts by analyzing product performance metrics and adjusting stocking strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, retail management, and 3PL providers to optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess stock.
• Develop financial models for pricing strategies, cost analysis, and inventory valuation using advanced data analytics skills.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control such as turnover rates, carrying costs, and service levels.
• Support process automation initiatives leveraging SQL or other data mining techniques to improve efficiency in procurement and stock management.

• Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong background in warehouse distribution, procurement, and inventory control.
• Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400), and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency in data analysis skills including SQL, data mining techniques, root cause analysis, and demand planning methodologies.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
• Knowledge of logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, production planning, and 3PL coordination.
• Ability to perform financial analysis related to pricing strategies, cost control, and inventory valuation.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for strategic decision-making.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting when necessary within warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as MRPs (Material Requirements Planning), S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning), and retail management practices. • Ensure that inventory is accurate
• Receive delivered inventory into Sys Pro ERP system using the purchase order number, ensuring accurate item numbers and quantities and noting damages and communicating damages to suppliers
• Receive containers ensuring accurate item numbers and quantities and noting damages and communicating damages
• Kit and WIP issue products weekly in Sys Pro ERP system
• Generate daily cycle counts
• Ensure that all major adjustments are signed off by the plant manager and controller
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve the inventory process from receipt of raw materials to preparation of finished goods for shipment
• Ensure products are put in the correct bin location and that physical inventory matches Sys Pro
