This position is also responsible for managing accurate and efficient Warehouse operations. Activities include receiving, slotting, loading, rotation, replenishment, order selection, sanitation, inventory, salvage and reclaim.

• Ensure the accurate and timely receiving of product coming into the warehouse.
• Follow up on rotation and replenishment of product and communicate any concerns to the appropriate receiving supervisor.
• Ensure that all receiving paperwork is sent to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
• Maintain consistency and correctness of product inventory.
• Ensure the sanitation functions are operating properly.
• Investigate concerns from stores on poor load conditions, mis-shipped product, etc.
• Communicate with the Senior Management team on problems, progress, or concerns.
• Follow through with the requests and recommendations of the Senior Management team.
• Maintain adequate and accurate records for planning and analysis.
• Communicate with transportation on loading/shipping errors, backhaul schedules, and any changes.
• Assess supply needs for the warehouse and purchase in a timely manner.
• Work with buyers on procurement of product into the facility.
• Communicate with data processing to verify store ordering schedule changes or any late data orders coming into the warehouse.
• Ensure that the proper cycle counting is taking place.
• Participate in the budgeting process for the warehouse.
• Recognize both good and poor performance. Counsel and document accordingly.
• Notify Maintenance Manager of maintenance needs of the facility.
• Understand, communicate, and implement company policies, procedures, and concepts.
• Work with Human Resources Manager to identify manpower needs and assist in the process for filling posted positions.
• Practice effective employee relations. Be sensitive to the needs and concerns of associates. Treat them in a fair and equal manner. Foster trust, respect, and integrity throughout the facility.
