We are seeking a highly resilient and proactive Supplier Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a critical problem-solver, managing supply chain disruptions, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless production operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Crisis Management:
    Coordinate delivery crisis management and provide deep supply chain expertise to resolve critical disruptions swiftly.
  • Stakeholder

    Collaboration:

    Interact with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering) to minimize operational impacts and protect plant production.
  • Root Cause Analysis:
    Identify the underlying root causes of supply chain crises through deep-dive investigations and structured problem-solving.
  • Process Improvement:
    Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize manufacturing processes and prevent future bottlenecks.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    Monitor high-risk suppliers proactively to prevent operational crises before they impact production.
  • Communication:
    Coordinate clear, concise communication with internal and external stakeholders during high-pressure crisis situations.
  • Strategic Partnership:
    Serve as a key partner to Purchasing Operations groups regarding all supply chain-related issues and continuously contribute to the development of team workflows.
Experience

5 or more years of experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, and/or Supply Chain (preferably within the automotive industry).

Technical Expertise

Strong supply chain development skills, crisis management capabilities, and a deep understanding of lean manufacturing knowledge.

Adaptability

Flexibility and willingness to travel at short notice to address critical supplier issues on-site.

Communication Skills

Proven ability to create concise reports and effectively communicate complex updates to diverse audiences, from plant floors to executive leadership.

Execution

Excellent ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Mindset

A customer-focused approach, strong integrity, creativity, and a desire to work collaboratively toward a common purpose.

Education

University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
