Strategic Buyer

We are seeking a Strategic Buyer responsible for procurement, cost negotiation, and subcontract management of materials and/or services from qualified suppliers to ensure timely delivery at or below budget.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Collaborating with internal teams to understand needs and review requisitions for accuracy.
• Leading RFQ processes, analyzing supplier quotes, and applying negotiation strategies to optimize value and mitigate risks.
• Managing supplier communications, resolving issues related to orders, quality, and performance, and ensuring compliance with agreements.
• Executing purchase orders, maintaining documentation, monitoring deliveries, and supporting procurement operations and cross-team initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management.

Working Conditions Primarily office-based with 10–25% travel to supplier facilities for reviews, assessments, and coordination. Overtime may be needed during project surges, with physical requirements including visits to manufacturing sites, ability to lift up to 10 lbs, and adherence to safety standards. Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
