Temporary‑Housekeeper (Student Center)

The primary purpose of this position is to provide and maintain a safe, clean, and well‑maintained facility for students, alumni, friends, and the community. The role emphasizes great customer service to visitors, supporting the department’s mission, goals, and objectives while sustaining a relaxing and wholesome atmosphere.

Key duties include:

• Perform basic cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, etc., to keep working areas clean and orderly throughout the facility.
• Fill dispensers—tissue and soap—with the proper product and amount.
• Empty all trash receptacles throughout the facility and surrounding areas into waste collection bags.
• Dust and damp‑wipe all surface areas, tables, and chairs with cleaning solutions.
• Clean all glass in the Student Center once a day with glass cleaners.
• Scrub, sanitize, and deodorize all restrooms.
• Disinfect toilet bowls and sinks; damp‑wipe all surface areas and resupply when needed.
• Inspect bathrooms at least three times during the shift, cleaning and resupplying as required.
• Sweep and mop restrooms, wipe down walls and stalls.
• Scrub and clean trash cans.

• Sunday – Thursday 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM

• Schedule 2:
Wednesday – Saturday 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred: 3+ years of experience in janitorial/custodial work or related fields.
