Building & Grounds; Sanitation Perishable Warehouse - 1st shift

Summary

Keeps warehouse clean, free of clutter, spills and debris.

• Cleans warehouse and outside buildings, parking lots and the property perimeter
• Mops, sweeps and scrubs warehouse floors and walls
• Empties trash cans, and bins
• Cleans offices and restrooms
• Cleans pick slots and under racking
• Works safely with approved chemicals
• Works safely with sweepers, scrubbers, forklifts, balers, compactors, pressure washers and pallet jacks
• Properly scans and processes damaged orphan cases and reclaim items
• Properly processes plastic and cardboard for recycling
• Follows Company policy
• Follows Company's safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as may be assigned or required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other associates of the organization.

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of TRICEPS.

• Ability to successfully pass Industrial Equipment Certification Test.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
