We are seeking a dynamic Vice President Sales to join our growing international sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with existing customers, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth worldwide. This position may be based at ZIM Aircraft Cabin Solutions (ZACS) in Greensboro, NC or at ZIM Aircraft Seating in Germany. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of these locations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the global sales strategy aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and expand the international sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and customer focus.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with airline customers, leasing companies, and OEMs.
  • Identify market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive developments to steer product portfolio discussions.
  • Oversee pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, bids, and contract management.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Production to ensure customer satisfaction and flawless execution.
  • Represent ZIM Aircraft Seating and ZIM Aircraft Cabin Solutions at international trade shows, industry events, and key customer meetings.
  • Report directly to the CEO and contribute to the executive leadership team’s strategic decision‑making.
Your Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior sales leadership roles, ideally within the aviation, aerospace, or aircraft interiors industry.
  • Proven track record of international sales success and strategic leadership.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex technical products and long sales cycles.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and strong execution capability.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
