Summary
Mercy Hill Church exists to make disciples and multiply churches. We seek to accomplish this through the Acts 2 Flywheel of Gather, Groups, Give, and Go. Campus Operations is a significant part of the Gather segment of the flywheel, but it influences much of what we do in the other three sections. The Associate Director of Campus Operations is responsible for leading the ministries of Guest Experience, Safety/Security, Facilities, and Connections at the Northeast Campus.
Duties include volunteer recruitment, assimilation, and leadership development. This position is responsible for coordinating the logistics for weekend gatherings at the Northeast Campus.
1. Focus on and Elevate the Excellence of the Entire Campus (30%)
- Create an appealing and welcoming environment for first time guests, attendees, and teams at the weekend services.
- Oversee the volunteer teams under the umbrella of Campus Operations:
Guest Experience, Safety/Security, Facilities, and Connections ministry. - Identify and activate on improvements across the campus through a volunteer team.
- Ensure all environments meet Mercy Hill Safety Standards.
- Lead new volunteers through the Weekender/A1S1 Weekend, helping them connect to the team that best aligns with their gifts and passions; oversee the A1S1 process for your campus.
- Ensure scheduling of the teams on a monthly basis through Service Coordinators and Team Leaders.
- Identify and raise up Team Leaders, Service Coordinators, and Campus Coordinators through the Leadership Pipeline.
- Invest into the serving experience of the teams to develop a culture of fun and relationships.
- Follow up with First Time Guest coming from weekend services.
- Lead the Baptism and Membership process at your campus.
- Execute Baptisms and Communion at your campus.
- Delegate lower-involvement campus facility tasks at your campus, ensuring their completion, execute campus workdays, and input campus facility work orders as needed.
- Submit campus-specific metrics in a timely fashion.
- Additional duties includes, but is not limited to attendance, headcounts, FTG entries, incident reports, work orders, & supply requests.

Hours:
This position is capped at 18 hours per week. Weekly schedule includes:
Weekend Services and 8 in-office hours on Wednesdays;
Tuesdays are dependent on work load.
