Receiving Clerk
Duration:
Contract 6 months
Location:
Greensboro, NC
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Job Summary:
Verify contents of received material against bills of lading, invoices, or packing slips.
Essential
Job Duties:
* Receive purchased and manufactured part and customer supplied material.
* Ensure materials and parts are in processed in a timely manner.
* Maintain paperwork/traceability of all incoming material to include Packing Lists, Certs, 8130"s, Conformity data and any other pertinent information.
* Ensure log sheets are properly completed and maintained.
* Loads/Unloads trucks and delivery vehicles as needed.
* Maintain neat and orderly Receiving area.
Secondary Duties:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
* Has a thorough knowledge of common receiving practices and warehouse operations, i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
* Must have working knowledge of receipt, verification and stocking of parts.
* Must have the ability to lead people and accept responsibility.
* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language.
Physical Requirements:
* May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Subject to continual loud noises.
* Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
* Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time; climb steps and ladders.
* Must be able to safely work around hazardous chemicals, solvents, resins and adhesives.
