Production Operator

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking a Production Operator for our client in Greensboro.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of recent production/machine operation experience.
This position works 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.

• Set up, operate, or tend machines that form materials into specified shapes, profiles, and products.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machining equipment; report mechanical problems to maintenance for repair.
• Load raw materials and compounds into production machines and adjust feed mechanisms to maintain proper material flow.
• Remove excess or defective material using appropriate tools; clear jams and ensure continuous operation.
• Start up machines, monitor temperature, pressure, and output, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications, and perform quality checks during production.
• Record production data, including machine settings, output levels, and quality inspection results.
• Conduct test runs to verify machine setup, product specifications, and operational readiness.
• Adjust heaters, cooling systems, line speed, and tension controls to ensure consistent product quality and performance.

• At least two years of recent production or machine operation experience.
• Proven history of good attendance.
• Capable of reading and understanding work instructions and safety documents.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift 50 pounds (for short bursts).
