On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Formulation Technician for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client's Greensboro, North Carolina office.

Formulation Technician - Job Description:
The Formulation Technician will support formulation engineering in the scale-up and commercialization of new products. The role involves assisting with pilot plant trials, evaluating new equipment, and developing formulation processing methods, with a focus on quality, capacity, and efficiency outcomes in a manufacturing environment.

Formulation Technician - Responsibilities:

• Support formulation engineering technical activities for new and existing manufacturing technologies

• Assist in staging and executing pilot plant trials

• Evaluate and test new equipment and formulation processes

• Perform material handling and processing tasks including weighing and calculations

• Document process steps and results accurately

• Apply continuous improvement and HSE best practices

• Support multiple project tasks across cross-functional teams

Formulation Technician - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in formulation processing development or formulation manufacturing

• Material handling experience

• Basic processing skills including weighing, calculations, and process documentation

• Forklift experience

• PPE usage experience

• Strong organization and attention to detail

• Ability to support multiple stakeholder requests

Formulation Technician - Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with pilot plant environments

• Continuous improvement and process risk assessment exposure

• Experience working in cross-functional organizations

• Understanding of end-to-end product development and formulation scale-up lifecycle

Formulation Technician - Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
