The Production & Customer Operations Specialist reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is responsible for coordinating customer requirements with internal production planning activities; manages ERP data for assigned customers; aligns customer demand with manufacturing schedules; supports quoting and proposal efforts through data gathering and cross-functional coordination; serves as the primary operational liaison between customers, sales, and manufacturing to ensure accurate schedule alignment, documentation control, and timely communication of order status;
supports on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction; operates in compliance with company safety practices; and performs other duties as assigned.
- Three to six (3-6) years of experience in manufacturing coordination, production planning, supply chain, or customer operations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, or related field preferred.
- Experience working within an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating customer schedules with production capacity.
- Strong understanding of production control principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
This position requires the ability to work in seated or standing positions for prolonged periods of time, perform office and clerical duties including use of office tools.
WORKING ENVIRONMENTThe working environment is a corporate office facility. Daily contact with employees in other departments is required.
