SUMMARY

The primary purpose of Repack Coordinator is to sort, clean, and repackage all breakage or damaged products to ensure it meets company standards for quality and safety. This role supports inventory accuracy and product integrity by following established procedures for handling damaged goods and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sort damaged products and determine usable product from damaged or unacceptable by supplier standards.
  • Read dates of all products to determine repack eligibility following company dates standards for return to the market.
  • Repackage all clean and in date product per supplier requirements.
  • Inventory and submit needs to operations manager, and brand manager to ensure we receive the proper repack materials in a timely manner.
  • Manage all products in the repack room and purge any out of date product or repack materials that are no longer current.
  • Maintain repack room keeping it clean and free of clutter. All items need to be at least 3 feet from any chargers or electrical panels.
  • Certified to operate scrubber/sweeper.
  • Clean out and flush all drains once finished each day.
  • Follow all company safety rules and practices.
  • Assist in warehouse cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Manage and properly condense all breakage to avoid buildup of product on warehouse floor.
  • Report any opportunities to Operations Manager for repair, or special needs.
  • Obey all federal, state and local laws.
  • Always adhere to dress code and be properly attired and groomed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A high school education is not required but would provide the basic skills necessary to learn the job.
  • Up to and including 3 month’s experience in a related field.
  • Internal candidates must have a recommendation from their manager or department head.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

RESONSIBILITY

FOR EQUIPMENT
  • Negligible – has little responsibility for equipment which, under normal use and care, would not result in damages.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR MATERIAL OR PRODUCT
  • Works with parts/materials where errors usually would be detected and could be reworked without major loss of materials.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY OF OTHERS
  • Only reasonable care to own work necessary to prevent injury to others and accidents, should they occur, would be minor in nature, such as cuts, abrasions, burns bruises, etc.
