Assist director of nursing with administrative functions, supervising, directing, training, and provide direct quality resident care and assume duties of director of nursing in his/her absence.

The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established facility policy and procedures.

• Provide individualized care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and personal care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and behavioral changes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective communication
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatments
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers on care and treatment options

• 2 years of experience as a registered nurse/ licensed practical in a long-term care setting
• Current RN / LPN licensure in the state of North Carolina
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
